Del Taco is expanding into the Texas market, breaking ground this month in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. A second location is also planned to open soon in McKinney, northeast of Dallas.

Del Taco's menu is made-to-order and includes Mexican staples such as tacos, burritos and nachos, and American favorites such as burgers and fries. Del Taco also features a breakfast menu and most stores are open 24 hours.

Founded in 1964, Del Taco exists in 16 states.

"We believe the Del Taco brand is a great fit for the Dallas/Ft. Worth market," said Paul Murphy, Del Taco CEO. "We're excited to bring our great tasting food and strong value options to Texas."
