McDonald's USA began serving its new Angus Snack Wraps today, emulating the chain's popular Angus Third Pounder in a portable, snack-size wrap.
The wrap includes the same burger taste and ingredients of the Angus Third Pounder line. Each of the three available Angus Snack Wraps feature half an Angus third-pound patty made of 100 percent Angus beef, wrapped in a soft flour tortilla.
The Angus Snack Wrap will be priced at $1.99.
There are three offerings in the snack wrap line:
- Deluxe, with red tomato, green leaf lettuce, red onions, crinkle cut pickles, American cheese, mayonnaise and yellow mustard
- Bacon & Cheese, with red ring onions, crinkle cut pickles, a strip of bacon, American cheese, ketchup and yellow mustard
- Mushroom & Swiss, with sauteed mushrooms, Swiss cheese and mayonnaise
The Angus Snack Wrap is the first evolution of the Angus Third Pounder burger line, which was introduced in 2009. With the Angus line, McDonald's also began offering crinkle cut pickles, red ring onions, sauteed mushrooms, bacon and Swiss cheese toppings.
The snack wrap was introduced in 2006.
