Burger King Corp. has announced an in-restaurant promotion with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) that will take place from Aug. 23 to Sept. 12 in about 7,000 Burger King restaurants throughout the U.S.
For the promotion, more than 5 million Superstar plush toys featuring WWE stars Triple H, John Cena, and Undertaker will be available in BK Kids Meals. A new Superstart plush toy will be available each week during the promotion, and will also include the stars' catch phrases or entrance music.
The Superstars will be featured on packaging and merchandise displays.
Additionally, the BK Kids Meals will include a $2 off coupon at Target stores for WWE Mattel FlexForce action figures. The promotion will be introduced through television commercials on channels such as Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and Disney XD.
The WWE Superstars plush toys will also be available throughout the summer in more than 3,000 Burger King restaurants internationally, including in Mexico, Germany, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
