Burger King Corp. has announced the company’s largest menu renovation in its history, with nine new breakfast items.
This announcement comes less than a week after Burger King's sale to 3G Capital.
"We're ready to compete to be America's wake-up call with our new BK Breakfast Menu," said Mike Kappitt, chief marketing officer, North America, Burger King Corp. "We're recognized far and wide for our superior burgers, and we're confident guests will know and love us for breakfast as well."
The new BK Breakfast Menu combines old and new favorites and will be available daily until 10:30 a.m. Some new items include:
- The BK Breakfast Ciabatta Club Sandwich features eggs, tomatoes, ham, bacon, American cheese and a smoky tomato sauce on a toasted Ciabatta bun. Sold at a suggested retail price of $2.89.
- The BK Mini Blueberry Biscuits are $1 and served warm with vanilla icing for dipping.
- The BK Ultimate Breakfast Platter features scrambled eggs, sausage, golden hash browns, a buttery biscuit and fluffy pancakes for a suggested retail price of $4.29.
- The Pancake and Sausage Platter and the Pancake Platter, are available for a suggested retail price of $2.89 and $2.29, respectively.
Burger King is also growing its coffee menu, adding Iced Seattle's Best Coffee in three premium flavors: mocha, vanilla and regular for $1.89. Burger King will still be offering Seattle's Best Coffee available in small, medium and large sizes at suggested retail prices of $1, $1.19 and $1.39, respectively.
To promote its newest menu, Burger King, beginning Sept. 13, will air a 60-second television commercial, featuring an early riser walking on the streets followed by hungry neighbors chanting, "Burger King for breakfast? There's really such a thing." Another commercial features how individual menu items get people up for breakfast.
