Boardwalk Fresh Burgers and Fries will open its first Florida location - in Boca Raton - in November.
Franchisee Irene Jung signed a master franchise agreement in March to open a total of 50 units throughout the Sunshine State.
Development is also underway for Jung's second unit, scheduled to open in March in Orlando. Beyond that, Jung plans to open two corporate locations in South Florida before franchising throughout the rest of the state, including Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Orange counties.
Boardwalk Fresh Burgers & Fries currently has seven locations open in Virginia, Maryland, Georgia, Pennsylvania and California. Additionally, 152 units are in development in Virginia, Georgia, California, Michigan and New Jersey.
“Boardwalk Fresh Burgers & Fries is the 'here and now' of fast food. Everything is fresh and made to order," Jung said. "Florida is ready for a better tasting, more authentic burgers and fries experience."
Boardwalk Fresh Burgers & Fries will continue to expand its global vision with a development focus in Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East.
