Dunkin' Brands, the parent company of Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robbins, has opened its 16,000th location worldwide, re-establishing the brand as one of the fastest growing in the quick service sector.
The milestone location is a new Dunkin' Donuts store located in Tian Li plaza in Shenzhen, China. It is the 20th Dunkin' Donuts unit in mainland China.

In addition to its expansion in China, Dunkin' Donuts recently opened new locations in Vaila, Spain and Cranston, R.I. Baskin-Robbins has new stores in Moscow and Shanghai. Japan just opened its 1,000th Baskin-Robbins store in Tokyo, operated by B-R 31 Ice Cream Company.
To date, Dunkin' Brands has 16,000 stores in 49 countries and is expecting to open more than 900 new Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins globally by the end of 2010.
