Whataburger has introduced its newest burger, the 5-3-1, available now through Dec. 13 at all 700-plus locations throughout the United States.
The 5-3-1 is appropriately named, touting its five pickles, three onion rings and one serving of creamy pepper sauce. These topping complement two 100-percent fresh, grilled, American beef patties, a slice of Monterey Jack cheese and a slice of American cheese. The burger is served between two slices of Texas toast.
The Whataburger 5-3-1 can be requested as part of a Whatameal, including drink and french fries. As with any Whatameal, guests can request a side salad in lieu of french fries, for a small additional charge.
"By adding our crispy onion rings we can provide our guests with the same Whataburger taste they know and love with one of our most popular sides," said Rich Scheffler, Whataburger Restaurants, LP Group director of marketing. "Our all new 5-3-1 Burger is a true original and unlike anything we have done before."
