Del Taco has spread into the Dallas/Fort Worth area, with its first restaurant opening this week in Denton. The new unit features a contemporary aesthetic expressing the brand's commitment to fresh Mexican food.
The design includes vibrant colors, updated seating arrangements and artwork featuring Del Taco phrases such as "Cheddar Hand Grated Here" and "Signature Sauces and Salsas."
A second location is set to open soon in McKinney, just north of Dallas.
Del Taco initially announced its plans to expand in Texas in August.
"We believe the Del Taco brand is a great fit for the Dallas/Ft. Worth market. We're excited to bring our great tasting food and strong value options to Texas," said Paul Murphy, Del Taco CEO.
Founded in 1964, Del Taco now exists in 17 states.
