Sailormen Inc., the largest franchisee for Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, will install the Maitre'D Solution in its 141 units throughout the next two years.
With the deployment, these restaurants will have streamlined operations with the Maitre'D point of sale, back-office and enterprise solution.
The software suite is provided by Posera-HDX, which has offices in Toronto, Seattle, Montreal, Paris and Glasgow.
J.D. Zweydoff, director and POS specialist for Sailormen, said the company evaluated several systems, but chose Maitre'D for its ease of use, its positive reputation and the quality of customer service and support.
The software also features reporting capabilities and business intelligence to help the franchisee's management team make business decisions. Centralized reports will be directed back to the Maitre'D e-Global corporate solution system, which will be installed at the corporate head office.
Sailormen is also using the system to gauge food costs in real time, increase profitability and measure time and attendance to manage employees and labor costs.
The Maitre'D solution is the flagship product of Posera, which marked its 10th year in business in 2009.
