For a limited time, Burger King Kids’ Meals will feature ZhuZhu Pets. Four characters will be introduced each week for four weeks, giving kids the chance to create their own “Zhu-niverse” with a total of 16 different hamsters.
ZhuZhu Pets, created by Cepia LLC, was named the Toy Industry Associations Toy of the Year for 2010. The realistic and interactive hamsters talk and move around within their own playsets.
Also included in the ZhuZhu Pets Kids Meals, available at participating U.S. and international Burger King restaurants, is a redeemable code kids can use to play on the Club BK website.
"Burger King always been a highly respected brand so a joint partnership seemed to be a very natural venture," said Russ Hornsby, CEO of Cepia LLC. "We also see this promotion as another extension of our ever-expanding Zhu-niverse and hope to give kids a tangible aspect of magic from the world we've created."
