Louisville, Ky.-based Yum! Brands has promoted David Russell to the position of vice president, corporate controller, effective Feb. 18. He currently serves as vice president, financial planning and controller-designate.

According to Louisville Business First, Russell, 41, replaces Ted Knopf, who has been named senior vice president, finance.

Russell will serve as the company’s principal accounting officer. He has been with Yum! brands for 11 years in finance and accounting roles.
