Valentine’s Day always inspires creative limited-time offerings, from heart-shaped pizzas to chocolate-covered everything. And now, Dunkin’ Donuts has introduced its first-ever heart shaped donut for the occasion.
Dunkin’ Donuts’ new Cupid’s Choice lineup features heart-shaped, yeast-shell donuts filled with Bavarian Kreme, topped with strawberry icing and a festive mix of pink, white and red heart-shaped sprinkles.
Chocoholics can try the Cupid’s Cocoa Donut, a heart-shaped chocolate yeast-shell donut filled with jelly, topped with chocolate icing and decorated with pink, white and red sprinkles.
Cupid’s Cocoa Donut is made from Dunkin’ Donut’s new line of yeast-raised creations that have been in test for several years. The new offerings feature a lighter texture compared to traditional cake donuts.
Cupid’s Choice donuts will be available at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants nationwide through the end of February for a suggested retail price of 89 cents each.
The chain also has rolled out a new half-dozen box featuring a clear window to showcase the donut varieties.
Additionally, throughout the month of February, Dunkin' Donuts and American Express have introduced the new "SweetLife Sweepstakes."
Until Feb. 28, every time Dunkin' Donuts guests who uses their American Express Card at a participating Dunkin' Donuts restaurant will automatically be entered for a chance to win prizes, including a trip for four to Universal Orlando Resort, tickets for admission to both Universal Studios Florida and Universal's Islands of Adventure, a full year of air travel on JetBlue airlines, free Dunkin' Donuts coffee for one year or free Dunkin' Donuts Cards.

Finally, Dunkin’ Brands’ Executive Chef Stan Frankenthaler has created a quick and easy dessert customers can make at home. The "Cocoa Donut Grilled Cheese" features a Dunkin' Donuts' Cocoa Donut. A video of Frankenthaler demonstrating how to prepare this dessert can be viewed here:
