Vjolla Lecaj has filed a lawsuit in Cook County Circuit Court in Chicago against McDonald's. According to NBC Chicago, Lecaj claims she sustained severe and permanent oral injuries, pain and anguish, after biting into a spicy McChicken sandwich that contained glass.

The incident happened in August 2010 at an Oak Lawn, Ill. restaurant, about a half hour south of the quick-service giant's headquarters in Chicago suburb Oak Brook, Ill.

Lecaj is seeking more than $600,000 in damages.
