McDonald’s has rolled out frozen strawberry lemonade in select markets throughout Florida and Georgia.
The item is part of the McCafe beverage line up, according to Jacksonville.com.
The company began testing in the Sunshine State strategically before spring break season.
Events have been held throughout the market to promote the frozen strawberry lemonade. Additionally, a McDonald’s street team mobile sampling unit has been dispatched to offer samplings at various events, including Swampfest in Waycross, Ga., and the opening of the Beaches Parade in Jacksonville in late April.
According to Ashlee Yingling, spokesperson for McDonald’s, the item is still in the testing phase and customer feedback has been positive thus far. However, future plans have not yet been made for an expanded rollout.
