The Subway restaurant chain has partnered up with Tr3s: MTV, Musica y Mas for a new contest that offers viewers nationwide the chance to win a backstage role at Wisin y Yandel's "Los Vaqueros: El Regreso 2011 Tour."
As part of the promotion, four lucky winners will cover concerts in Miami, Los Angeles, Chicago and Dallas as an extended media member. Joined by a producer and crew, these correspondents will get the chance to meet and interview Wisin y Yandel for a news segments on "Lo Que Te Pica."
"Tr3s has always been a huge supporter of our music and our tours throughout the world, so it is very exciting that they are giving select fans a chance to interview us and cover our 'Los Vaqueros: El Regreso 2011 Tour' from their perspective, giving these special correspondents a wonderful opportunity to show off their talent while also offering all Tr3s viewers exclusive coverage created by and for the fans," said Wisin.
Until April 24, contestants 18 and over can register online, answer five short questions and submit a photo to be considered. Tr3s producers will select the finalists who will then be asked to submit a video of themselves. Four winning correspondents will be selected in mid-May and concert reports will take place in early June.
Wisin y Yandel's concerts feature state-of-the-art audiovisuals and pyrotechnics, eight dancers, seven band members and the Latin urban pop duo's greatest hits. They have sold out Madison Square Garden, the Staples Center and more. The U.S. summer tour "Los Vaqueros: El Regreso 2011" hits 11 U.S. cities starting in June.
