Cold Stone Creamery has launched a new online ordering website for customers to order cakes, ice cream cookie sandwiches and ice cream cupcakes, available for pick up during store hours.
Select units also will offer ice cream pies and customization of ice cream cakes and pies on the site.
Cakes ordered at least 24 hours in advance can be picked up in-store without waiting in line. Orders can be placed 24 hours a day using a credit card over a secure network.
Also, customers can browse cake selections online before placing their order, ensuring the perfect treat for their upcoming event.
"Cold Stone Creamery is the first and only national ice cream concept to provide online ordering with payment processed online," said Jana Schneider, director of marketing for Cold Stone Creamery. "We are excited to make ordering even easier and more convenient for our ice cream lovers."
Cold Stone Creamery is partnering with OLO Online Ordering to provide this service to customers. OLO has successfully provided web-based online ordering software for a variety of restaurants.
According to the program, their entire franchise system is collapsing amid $13 million a year of corporate kickbacks, franchise owner intimidation, unprofitable stores due to a broken business model, massive store closures, franchise owner bankruptcy, etc. Afterwards I did some searching on line and found a Wall Street Journal article and quite a bit of other publications that corroborated the accusations.
I haven’t eaten at Cold Stone since and I can assure, I never will. It matters to me how corporations treat the people and Cold Stone has failed miserably.
