This has been an exceptionally busy spring for Boardwalk Fresh Burgers and Fries. The chain has solidified development deals in Alabama, Washington, Oregon and Virginia.
Now it has its sights on North Carolina. Boardwalk signed a development agreement with Koti Aluri of Boardwalk Fairfax LLC, a current multi-unit franchisee for Fairfax County, Va., to open 20 or more stores in North Carolina. He expects to have his first location in operation by the end of 2011.
"I believe Boardwalk has all pieces in place now to grow and become a strong national brand and I want to be a part of that great success story," Aluri said.
Boardwalk Fresh Burgers & Fries also has development areas signed for Delaware, New Jersey, Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Virginia and the District of Columbia and Michigan.
