McDonald's USA has announced the top 10 finalists of its Perfect Pair Contest, which kicked off the national launch of McCafé Frozen Strawberry Lemonade on May 9.
The first round asked consumers to team up with one other person -- a friend, co-worker, relative or significant other -- to share why they are as perfect a pair as the sweet strawberry and tart lemon in the new McCafé Frozen Strawberry Lemonade. An independent judging panel reviewed hundreds of entries and selected 10 finalists to compete for the grand prize of a $5,000 travel voucher for a dream vacation and $5,000 in cash for the winning pair. Two runner-up pairs will each receive $1,000 in McDonald's Arch Cards.
As part of the second round, the 10 finalists were asked to create a short video further explaining why they are McDonald's Perfect Pair. From now through June 13, fans can view the video entries online and vote for the winners.
The top-10 finalist pairs include:

- Sarah Hirsch (West Bloomfield, Mich.) & Kevin Hirsch (West Bloomfield, Mich.);
- Jamilah Lemieux (Brooklyn, N.Y.) & David K. Giles (Brooklyn, N.Y.);
- Grace McMurtrie (Appleton, Wisc.) & Alison Maresh (Arlington, Va.);
- Katherine Moore (Arlington, Va.) & Marshall Taylor (Arlington, Va.);
- Ivette Serrano (Sherman Oaks, Calif.) & Herbert Serrano (Sherman Oaks, Calif.)
McDonald's USA will announce the grand prize winning pair and the two runner-up pairs by June 24.
