Great American Cookies is partnering with the Yellow Ribbon Fund Inc. to present the brand's first summer Yellow Ribbon Campaign. For the campaign, from July 4 through Sept. 16, Great American Cookies will donate $2 from the online sale of every Yellow Ribbon, Uncle Sam Hat and U.S. Flag Cookie Cake to the organization.
Founded in 2005, the Yellow Ribbon Fund provides assistance, including transportation and lodging, for injured service members and their families from across the country while they recuperate at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the National Naval Medical Center.
"We're thrilled to be able to show our support for America's troops and the important work of the Yellow Ribbon Fund through this new program," said Jenn Johnston, chief marketing & operations officer for GFG Management LLC, which manages Great American Cookies. "Our patriotic Cookie Cake designs are a customer favorite, especially during the summer months, and we hope that the money we raise through our Yellow Ribbon Campaign will go a long way to help to ease the burden of injured service members and their families."
