A&W Restaurants has kicked off a summer promotion that includes the chance to win more than $1.6 million in food and another $100,000 in prizes, including eight Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight motorcycles.
Emil Brolick, president of A&W Restaurants, said the "Rip to Ride" promotion is the largest in the chain's 92-year history.
From now through Aug. 20, A&W customers who purchase an All American Combo Box will get a chance to win one of thousands of instant prizes being offered with a game piece on the food package.
Prizes include eight Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight motorcycles, Harley-Davidson Rider's Edge New Rider Courses, A&W merchandise and free food.
Also during the length of promotion, many of the chain's 850 restaurants will hold "Bike Nights." A&W Restaurants will support the promotion with local television commercials and point-of-purchase materials at the restaurants.
