Krispy Kreme is embracing summer fruits with the launch of its new lemon doughnuts and Jolly Rancher Krispy Kreme Chillers, available for a limited-time only at participating U.S. and Canadian locations.
The Lemon Cake Doughnut is a moist lemon-flavored traditional cake doughnut covered with Original Glaze and drizzled with a sweet icing.
The Lemon Kreme Pie Doughnut has become a summer favorite for its Lemon Kreme filling, powdered sugar topping and generous dollop of yellow icing on top.
"Both of these summer treats feature a refreshing sweet and tangy flavor," said Ron Rupocinski, corporate chef of Krispy Kreme. "We took the essence of a lemon, and sweetened it with just enough Original Glaze coating and tasty Kreme filling to turn a sour pucker into a smile."
Also available for a limited-time, Jolly Rancher Krispy Kreme Chillers come in three fruity Jolly Rancher flavors: Green Apple and Watermelon, and this summer's new addition, Cherry Orange.
