Dedham, Mass.-based Papa Gino's Inc. has selected Allen & Gerritsen (a&g) as its advertising agency of record, effective immediately.
Papa Gino's Inc. is the parent company of Papa Gino's, a quick-service Italian restaurant chain, and D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches, a regional sub sandwich chain.
The company selected a&g, without a formal agency review, based on its forward thinking, innovative ideas, experience and track record in the restaurant industry.

The team of food and beverage advertisers at a&g will work with Papa Gino's Inc. to build and expand brand and product awareness, boost the company's digital presence and build a strong social media community around both Papa Gino's and D'Angelo.

Papa Gino's began in 1961 as a single East Boston pizza shop called Piece O' Pizza. It now includes 170 restaurants. D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches originally opened its doors as Ma Riva's Sub Shop in 1967. Today, there are almost 200 D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches restaurants.
