Burger King Corp. is celebrating St. Patrick's Day with free value-sized fries for guests March 17 and 18 at participating restaurants nationwide.
Also to celebrate the holiday, the fries will include a one-of-a-kind green St. Paddy's Sauce from Heinz.
"Free fries for St. Patrick's Day weekend is the Burger King way of sharing the luck of the Irish with all of our guests," said Alex Macedo, senior vice president, North America marketing, Burger King Corp. "We're especially excited to have teamed up with Heinz, makers of America's Favorite Ketchup, to offer a fun and festive green dipping sauce on the side."
Burger King's new french fries, introduced in the fall, feature a higher-quality, thicker cut potato. They include 20 percent less sodium than their predecessors.
Burger King held another free french fry giveaway in December to celebrate the launch.
