Boardwalk Fresh Burgers & Fries has selected MEFranchising as its strategic partner to launch the brand in the Middle East.
The first outcome is a signed Master Franchise agreement with Musaid Alsayyar Est based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a store scheduled to open this year.
Under the agreement, MEFranchising also will provide brand consulting, help establish investor relationships and lead initiatives to guide the burger chain in its expansion across the region.
"MEFranchising is thrilled to help establish a truly American staple in the Middle East. Using our franchise consulting experience to secure a Master Franchise agreement between Boardwalk Fresh Burgers & Fries and Musaid Alsayyar Est, the chain is on track to launch in Riyadh and across the region," said Mohammed Alnassar, managing director of MEFranchising.
With a flagship location on the Boardwalk in Ocean City, Md., and stores in Alabama, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, New Jersey, Oregon, Pennsylvania and Virginia, Boardwalk Fresh Burgers & Fries has served traditionally American food since 1981.
"We are delighted to work with MEFranchising and draw from their vast franchise consulting experience, knowledge and relationships in the Middle East. With a Master Franchise Agreement in place, we are ready to bring Boardwalk Fresh Burgers and Fries to the region," said David DiFererdinando, president and co-founder of Boardwalk Fresh Burgers & Fries.
MEFranchising has established brands across the Middle East region, including Wayne's Coffee, Mobiak Greece, Arabica Coffee House, Falafoul and ILFY. The company has offices in London, Kuwait, Morocco and KSA.
