Taco John's has introduced two new Mexican inspired salads – the Chipotle BBQ Chicken and Cran-Apple Almond Chicken Salads. The limited time offerings will be available through Sept.2.
The Chipotle BBQ Chicken Salad is garnished with a corn and black bean salsa, crunchy chipotle BBQ chicken and jalapeño ranch. Taco John's Cran-Apple Almond Chicken Salad features a raspberry chipotle vinaigrette, Pico de Gallo, apples, cranberries, almonds and grilled chicken.
"Many fast-food salads are boring and uninspiring," said Bob Karisny, VP for Menu Strategy and Innovation at Taco John's International. "Our team has created salads with bold flavors, fresh ingredients and zesty dressings."
Taco John's currently offers a taco salad as a menu item, but the new salad offerings will provide more options for customers.
"We are looking to attract new and lapsed guests with our bold salads," said Renée Middleton, vice president of marketing at Taco John's International. "Today's customers appreciate a variety of choices and are tired of the same-old-same-old salads."
Taco John's has also introduced TV spots featuring three high-fashion models who are tired of the typical salad and find something different, and far from boring, with these two new salads. View the commercial here:
