EVOS has announced its first month-long celebration of Earth Day (officially April 22). The chain is hosting activities, educational sessions and promotions throughout April to showcase its passion for sustainability.
For many years, EVOS has marked Earth Day with free organic milkshakes. This year, EVOS will offer a buy one, get one free shakes deal on weekdays throughout the month at all locations (guests must have the daily fun fact code word found at EVOS' Facebook page) and a full day of free shakes on April 20.
Additionally, on Sundays in April, kids eat free while enjoying family activities at EVOS, including a reading from the Kokopelli and the Butterfly series and chalk art activities on the patio from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Each Wednesday at 3 p.m. in April, EVOS South Tampa and St. Petersburg, Fla., locations will host free "sharing knowledge" events, including:
- April 18, EVOS South Tampa, (609 South Howard Ave.), hosts Michael Loekey of "Green Your Fleet," discussing alternative fuel options available that can positively impact the environment and consumers' bank account;
- April 25, EVOS St. Petersburg, (2631 4th Street North), invites the community to learn from some of the area's experts on native Florida landscaping and choosing the right plants.
Also, guests are invited to volunteer at the EVOS Community Beach Clean Up on April 28.
