Hardee's has introduced two new breakfast wraps on its Facebook page, complete with a coupon for a free hash rounds order when guests order two.
Its new breakfast wraps include the bacon egg and cheese wrap, with cheddar cheese, two slices of bacon and an egg wrapped in a warm tortilla, and the sausage egg and gravy breakfast wrap, with gravy, sausage and an egg wrapped in a warm tortilla.
Hardee's has long been focused on its breakfast menu, rolling out a loaded biscuit 'n gravy offering in 2010.
Its hearty breakfast platter came out in 2011, and its diner-style breakfast platter was introduced in January. Hardee's signature Made From Scratch Biscuits have had enough success that parent company CKE Restaurants began introducing them on Carl's Jr. menus – its sister chain.
According to market research firm Technomic breakfast patronage is up at foodservice locations, particularly in the quick-service segment, where 46 percent of consumers now occasionally purchase weekday breakfasts compared to just 33 percent in 2009.
