Burger King restaurants nationwide are offering guests the chance to try the new Crispy Chicken Strips at a special promotional price May 5 and 6. For those two days, the two-piece servings will be $1.
The strips include a variety of dipping choices, such as the new Roasted Jalapeño Barbeque or Kung Pao sauces.
"Given the tremendous success and popularity of the new Crispy Chicken Strips at Burger King paired with our new and fun advertising, we want to reward our guests with even more reasons to come in and try them," said Alex Macedo, senior vice president, North America marketing, Burger King Corp. "We hope our fans will get adventurous with our bold new dipping sauces and give their taste buds a treat that will have them craving more."
Burger King's Crispy Chicken Strips are made with white meat tenderloin chicken, marinated and lightly battered in seasoned home-style breading. Typically served in three- or five-piece servings, the suggested retail price of Crispy Chicken Strips starts at just $2.99 for the three-piece serving. The $1 promotion will be available at participating restaurants, while supplies last.
In April, Burger King hosted a similar $1 introductory promotion for its new chicken wraps.
The items are part of Burger King's largest menu initiative in the brand's history, and were introduced in the beginning of April.
BK signs up for Facebook loyalty program
Burger King is the latest chain to partner with Plink.com, a Facebook Credits-based loyalty program that rewards members for dining and making purchases at their favorite restaurants.
The company announced the new service earlier this week on its Facebook page. Customers who register at Plink.com will get 10 Facebook Credits for every $5 they spend at Burger King.
