On July 13, Chick-fil-A restaurants nationwide will give away free meals to any customer who is fully dressed as a cow.
The eighth annual Cow Appreciation Day runs through breakfast, lunch and dinner dayparts. Last year's event, according to Chick-fil-A, was the chain's most successful to date, with thousands of meals given away.
"Fully dressed like a cow" means guests need to make an effort to be dressed like a cow from head to toe. "Partial cow attire" means wearing a cow accessory, such as a cow-printed hat, vest or purse. People dressed in partial attire will be awarded an entrée vs. a full combo meal. Costume decisions will be made at the discretion of the restaurant operator.
Appropriately dressed customers may select any breakfast, lunch or dinner meal. Kids who are "fully dressed like a cow" may request a Kid's Meal if desired.
