In an effort to consolidate and communicate the National Retail Federation and National Council of Chain Restaurants' position on the health care law, the two groups recently partnered to launch a new microsite on the Retail Means Jobs website – www.retailmeansjobs.com/healthcare.
The new page will educate the retail and chain restaurant industries and key industry stakeholders on the law and prepare them for the Supreme Court decision, expected soon.
The site features a cost calculator, a detailed timeline of the impact of the bill to employers, links to external research, and NRF/NCCR news, analysis and resources.
NRF and NCCR have both worked to repeal the Affordable Care Act in its entirety and have also worked to repeal provisions such as the employer mandate penalties.
