Subway New Zealand has introduced an "Our Card's Your Canvas" competition encouraging fans to design their own Subway gift card.
The competition began this week. Fans can download a Subway gift card template and submit designs for six different categories: Mum's the Word, Daddy Dearest, Super Teen (boy), Super Teen (girl), Christmas and Open (a generic Subway design).
All entries will be judged by Subway representatives with the shortlist of designs uploaded to the Subway website on Aug. 13. The public will be invited to vote for their favorite design in each category. The designer of the most popular design in each category will receive a Subway gift card loaded with $500 and the winning designs will be introduced officially as gift cards for the brand. The second and third most popular designs will each receive $100 and $50 respectively.
"We're looking forward to seeing how our customers connect with the Subway brand and how they interpret this into a creative design," said Joanne Reynolds, Subcard marketing manager. "We know Kiwis love the Subway brand, and now it's our customers' chance to turn their love of subs into an equally tasty piece of art."
