Rita's Italian Ice has introduced a Secret Flavor Ice and a Secret Flavor Facebook sweepstakes at outlets across the country. Beginning today and running through Aug. 22, guests can sample the new secret flavor and enter their guess on Rita's Facebook page.
On Aug. 23, the new flavor will be revealed.
One grand prize winner will receive an Apple iPad and daily winners will be selected to win free Ice for a year during the promotional period. Additionally, for every 1,000 new Facebook fans Rita's gains during the promotion, one winner will receive a "Swag Bag" containing Rita's merchandise.
"We wanted to engage our guests and what better way to do so than a Secret Flavor sweepstakes?" said Jonathan Fornaci, chief executive officer of Rita's. "Our guests love sampling our new flavors, now they have a chance to win great prizes by simply sampling the Secret Flavor and entering their guess via our Facebook page."
