Wisconsin-based Cousins Subs has launched two new limited-time options that celebrate the chain's Midwestern heritage: the Wisconsin Steak and Brat and the Wisconsin Cheesy Chicken.
The two new subs will be available until the beginning of October.
The Wisconsin Steak and Brat features thinly sliced steak and bratwurst, along with cheddar cheese and sautéed green peppers and onions.
The Wisconsin Cheesy Chicken includes chicken breast, American cheese and sautéed green peppers and onions.
The 7 ½-inch sandwiches will be built on the same baked-daily bread as Cousins' signature subs.
"It's hard to deny the power of a juicy brat or Wisconsin cheese. These two subs are some of the tastiest combinations we've brought to the table," said Justin McCoy, vice president of Marketing at Cousins Subs. "We're proud of our Midwestern heritage and can't wait to hear how consumers around the country respond."
