Plenty of QSRs are taking advantage of the Halloween marketing calendar with themed product launches available through October.
Returning to Krispy Kreme this year are the Pumpkin, Cobweb and Halloween Sprinkle offerings as part of the Krispy Skremes doughnuts and beverages line. They will be available through Oct. 31.
To promote the limited time menu, a cast of characters from "Krispy Skremes Monsterpiece Theatre" is hosting games and other activities online at KrispySkremes.com.
Krispy Kreme is also offering the Pumpkin Spice Cake cake doughnut in October, made with pumpkin flavors and spices and finished with Krispy Kreme's Original Glaze, and the Pumpkin Spice Latte, available hot and iced and topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin spice.
Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop has unveiled its Halloween Donut Supreme for the month of October.
The special Halloween Donut Supreme is a Long John donut dipped in vanilla fondant, covered in fall-colored sprinkles and topped with a Halloween decal.
"While our adult guests love our seasonal fall flavors like Caramel Apple and Pumpkin Spice, our youngest guests will go crazy for the fun and festive Halloween Donut Supreme," said Mike Meilleur, executive vice president, Tim Hortons U.S.
The Halloween Donut Supreme retails for $1.15 and is available at participating U.S. restaurants through Oct. 31.
Also, Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop introduced its Caramel Apple baked goods and Caramel Apple Cider Supreme in September. The Pumpkin Spice Latte Supreme and Pumpkin-flavored baked goods are available in restaurants throughout the remainder of fall.
Dunkin' Donuts rolled out its new fall pumpkin latte flavors this week, including pumpkin white chocolate and pumpkin mocha.
Earlier in September, the brand also introduced its limited time pumpkin K-Cup packs, as well as apple orchard donuts and Munchkins, apple crisp muffins, homestyle apple pie, apple cider, pumpkin cream cheese, pumpkin donuts and Munchkins and pumpkin muffins.
