Quiznos today announced the appointment of Kenneth Cutshaw as the company's new president of International.
Cutshaw most recently served as executive vice president and chief legal officer of Cajun Operating Company based in Atlanta, where he was responsible for the global expansion of Church's and Texas Chicken Brands as well as the management of legal affairs. Additionally, he was the chief compliance officer and president of Cajun Funding Corp.
"The international arena is one of our largest opportunities to grow the Quiznos brand. We have recently inked new development deals in Brazil to build nearly 150 restaurants, unveiled new locations in Asuncion, Paraguay, Mumbai, India and Manila, Philippines, and opened our fifth restaurant in the Dominican Republic which generated more than $26,000 in opening week sales," said Stuart Mathis, chief executive officer, Quiznos. "Ken's extensive experience in global franchising and restaurant operations will be invaluable as we continue our international expansion and I am thrilled to welcome him to the team."
Cutshaw has deep experience in the restaurant industry. He was co-founder of Cheers Funeatery, a founding partner of the Red, Hot & Blue (BBQ) restaurant chain, a co-founder of Let's Go Back LLC and a shareholder in Dressed Salads International of Hong Kong.
