Pollo Tropical has announced the promotion of Vicky Timmer to the newly created position of vice president of Operations.
Timmer, who joined Pollo Tropical in 2006, most recently served the company as region director. With more than 30 years of restaurant operations experience, including positions within the Pizza Hut and Burger King franchise systems, her new role will focus the brand on ensuring customer satisfaction.
"Vicky has been a big part of the growth of Pollo Tropical," said Tim Taft, president and CEO of Fiesta Restaurant Group, parent company of Pollo Tropical. "She will play an integral role in further strengthening our restaurant management teams as we focus on improving the customer experience in addition to expansion of the brand in new and existing markets."
