For the fourth consecutive year, Subway was named as the mega chain leader in three categories — Healthy Options, Most Popular and Top service — according to the recently released 2012 Zagat Fast-Food Survey.

Earlier this year, the brand earned the American Heart Association's Heart-Check Meal Certification nutritional criteria, which enables the brand to include the iconic Heart-Check logo on Subway menus nationwide. This meal certification from the AHA comes after a nearly 12-year relationship.
