TCBY is adding three limited-time holiday flavors to the menu, including Pumpkin Spice, Apple Spice and Eggnog Super Fro-Yo.
The flavors are new to the Super Fro-Yo line-up, and include three grams of fiber per serving, prebiotics, vitamins, calcium and live active probiotic cultures. Additionally, the offerings contain 120 calories or less and one gram or less of saturated fat.
"Super Fro-Yo was a real innovation for TCBY and our category in 2011 because it highlighted the nutritional gap between Super Fro-Yo and other options the consumer may choose to satisfy a sweet craving, be it ice cream, smoothies or even other frozen yogurts," said Dr. Wayne Geilman, product development manger and Food Scientist at TCBY. "For the holiday season, we felt it was important to elevate the nutritional values in some of our classic holiday favorites. So we maintained the flavor profiles while enhancing the nutritionals to at least the minimum Super Froy-Yo requirements. Today, our Super Fro-Yo remains nutritionally unparalleled in the industry."
TCBY will offer Pumpkin Spice throughout October, Apple Spice in November and Eggnog in December.
