McDonald's has been named the new Official Restaurant Sponsor of the NFL. As part of a multi-year agreement, McDonald's will become the presenting sponsor of the 2013 Pro Bowl and be able to feature the NFL Shield and collective use of all 32 team logos in its marketing and advertising campaigns.
The sponsorship kicks off in December with a Chicken McNugget Pro Bowl Promotion at participating restaurants across the country. From Dec. 4-18, 20-piece Chicken McNuggets will be available for $4.99. Also as part of the promotion, 20 customers who purchase the 20-piece package will win travel for two to Hawaii for the 2013 Pro Bowl.
The prize includes airfare, accommodations, tailgates and two tickets to the game.
Additionally, followers of McDonald's Twitter handle, @McDonalds, who use #McDProBowl, will have a chance to win a pair of tickets by Dec. 18.
