WyckWyre, the applicant tracking system focused on the food and hospitality industry, and BF Companies, a 165-unit Wendy's franchisee, announced their partnership to deploy WyckWyre's hiring tool systemwide.
BF Companies had specific needs when researching applicant tracking systems for their quick-service restaurant locations. The company's district and general managers are already reporting positive results from the deployment.
"I am seeing more quality applicants that are specific to what I'm looking for. Our interviews done by the management staff are worth more because of the research and information they enter an interview with based on what WyckWyre gives them," said Gena Carr, a district manager for BF Companies.
Hiring managers who use WyckWyre report saving an average of four to six hours per hire due to the system's robust pre-screening capabilities that are geared toward recruiting high-quality restaurant and hospitality employees.
WyckWyre goes beyond "yes/no" and "agree/disagree" questions, putting applicants through a complete virtual interview where full-sentence and paragraph responses are necessary.
"This allows you to see the applicant's communication skills. You have a 50/50 shot at getting a 'yes/no' answer correct, but when you're required to write your thoughts down, there is no right or wrong answer. The applicant is able to express themselves completely, allowing employers a full view into who the applicant is as a person and a worker before they ever step foot in the business," said Lisa DiVirgilio, WyckWyre's company director.
WyckWyre's hiring systems are monitored by a team of specialists daily to ensure employers are getting quality traffic and quality applicants. By having access to a recruiting consultant, employers can focus more on their day-to-day operations, and less on recruiting.
