Corporate Secretary, a governance and compliance publication, has announced the winners of its Fifth Annual Corporate Governance Awards, which were presented Jan. 8 in New York City.
Among this year's winners was Krispy Kreme, which earned "corporate governance team of the year" in the small to mid-sized category. Allstate won the same award in the large category.
"Our award winner's hard work has provided shining examples of corporate governance, compliance and ethics management, which can help companies eliminate fraud and become more efficient and profitable while complying with tougher regulations," said Matthew Scott, editor of Corporate Secretary.
The event recognized leading companies and professionals in the corporate governance, compliance and legal community for demonstrating innovation and best practices in the field of governance.
