Dunkin' Donuts continues to introduce limited-time flavors to its fledgling K-Cup lineup — from mocha to pumpkin. The latest flavor on the list is caramel.
Its caramel K-Cup packs are now available for use with the Keurig K-Cup Brewing System. The flavor includes a blend of 100-percent Arabica beans with the taste and aroma of caramel.
The brand's K-Cup packs are also offered in five permanent flavors, including Original Blend, Dunkin' Decaf, French Vanilla, Hazelnut and Dunkin' Dark Roast. The suggested retail price for a 14-count box is $11.99.
For a limited time, guests can also enjoy Dunkin' Donuts' new caramel packaged coffee in a special 8-ounce size.
Caramel K-Cup packs were first revealed to Dunkin' Donuts Twitter followers last week as the culmination of a week-long, interactive Twitter sweepstakes in which fans could enter a guess as to the brand's newest flavor. With each guess using a special #NextDDKCup hashtag, the coffee beans covering the @DunkinDonuts Twitter profile slowly disappeared, unveiling the new Caramel K-Cup packs.
Dunkin' Donuts has also introduced several new menu items, including dark hot chocolate, a French toast bagel and reduced fat cinnamon cream cheese spread. The brand has also added the new Turkey Sausage Breakfast Sandwich to its DDSMART menu in select markets.
