Participating Church's Chicken restaurants will be offering combo meals that include original or spicy chicken, tender strips and jalapeno cheese bombers.
The combo meal prices vary by restaurant and are being promoted ahead of the Super Bowl, Feb. 3, featuring the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens.
Church's is also reminding its fan base that it is open on Sunday, perhaps a subtle reference to competitor Chick-fil-A, which is closed on Sundays.
"Fried Chicken and football go perfectly together on any given day. But this Sunday is a big day for Church's," said Rob Crews, chief marketing officer for Church's Chicken. "Church's fans know they can expect hot, freshly prepared, crispy, juicy chicken and other menu items that travel well - whether they're tailgating, going to a big game party or celebrating at home. We're suiting up in our restaurants for people to stop in and load up for Sunday's festivities."
