Just in time for the Lenten season, Feb. 13-March 30, Wendy's has brought back its premium fish fillet sandwich.
Wendy's sandwich features a 100-percent North Pacific Cod hand-cut fillet, lightly breaded in a crispy panko crumb coating topped with lettuce and tartar sauce. The fillet weighs 3.4 ounces, which is larger than its competitors' fish offerings, according to the company.
The item will be promoted through television commercials and an online media campaign beginning Feb. 11. The creative features an office setting with co-workers who went to Wendy's comparing their fish sandwich with those who went somewhere else.
Wendy's premium fish fillet sandwich is available for a limited time at the suggested retail price of $3.69 a la carte and $5.29 for a combo.
