Sonic Drive-In is celebrating Groundhog Day Feb. 2 by offering its Footlong Quarter Pound Hot Dog for half price.
Customers can choose from the Chicago Dog, All-American Dog, New York Dog or Chili Cheese Coney offering during the all-day promotion.
"Sonic Drive-In is taking the American classic one step further by offering four flavor-packed footlong quarter pound hot dog flavors at half price," said James O'Reilly, chief marketing officer. "These four flavors highlight the great tastes of regional favorites throughout the United States."
Sonic's "groundhog" will be promoting the campaign by taking questions and answering with predictions online at SonicDriveIn.com from Jan. 31 through Feb. 2.
All four of Sonic's classic hot dog offerings will be available as a Footlong Quarter Pound option throughout February.
