Jersey Mike's Subs today opened its first restaurant in the state of Oregon -- its 33rd market -- in Portland. The new restaurant is located in Cascade Station, a premier shopping center.
Franchise owner, Raymund Baluyut, is hosting a grand opening and free sub fundraiser today through Feb. 10 to support Randall Children's Hospital. Baluyut and team will circulate 10,000 coupons throughout the community, offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Randall Children's Hospital.
This is the first of five restaurants that Baluyut will open in the Portland market.
"I am thrilled to bring the Jersey Mike's brand to Portland," said Baluyut, a restaurant industry veteran who owned 43 Jack in the Box restaurants in Oregon and Washington. "Jersey Mike's is truly unique because it hasn't changed since its inception. Sticking to core values and never compromising quality or service makes Jersey Mike's special."
