MICROS Systems Inc. has been selected as the POS provider for Carvel Ice Cream brand. The MICROS e7 all-in-one POS system will be installed in more than 450 Carvel outlets worldwide.
In addition, Auntie Anne's Pretzels has extended its existing MICROS e7 preferred vendor agreement with MICROS for its 1,000 U.S. franchised locations.
Auntie Anne's and Carvel, both operating under the FOCUS Brands portfolio, have each selected the MICROS e7 POS solution due to Auntie Anne's positive history with the product and MICROS Systems as a long-standing partner, according to a company announcement.
"MICROS e7 has proved to be extremely reliable and easy-to-use for our 1,000 U.S. Auntie Anne's locations," said Paul Gerhart, director of Retail Technology – Specialty Brands, FOCUS Brands Inc. "We were looking for the same results and track record for our Carvel locations. After deploying the MICROS e7 product throughout the Auntie Anne's brand over the past five years, the FOCUS Brands Operations and Information Technology team is very confident that the easy-to-self-install MICROS e7 product's all-in-one architecture is the right decision for Carvel's franchise system."
Functionality of the MICROS e7 includes the management of guest transactions, staff productivity, menu offerings and restaurant operations.
