Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, a division of AFC Enterprises Inc., has introduced its Cajun Surf & Turf promotion, featuring four butterfly shrimp, two Handcrafted Tenders, one regular side, biscuit and two signature dipping sauces for $4.99.
Popeyes is promoting the offering through its Big Cajun Get Together catering sweepstakes.
"People are already seeking out Popeyes to cater their gatherings because we do Cajun flavor better than anyone can; so we're going one giant step further by actually throwing a completely catered Big Cajun Get Together for one lucky set of friends and family," said Hector Munoz, vice president of marketing. "We know that people truly want to stay close to their friends and family. It's the reason social media exists. So to use it to physically bring people together is something that anyone would inherently want to participate in."
