McDonald's plans to expand its footprint in Russia through franchising. Its initial franchisee in the market, Rosinter, plans to open its first restaurants in Moscow and St. Petersburg this year.
Additionally, the chain is planning to open at least 150 franchised restaurants in Russia throughout the next three years, according to Reuters.
