CIC Partners, a middle market private equity firm, has added Sam Khoury to its team as an operating partner in residence.
CIC Partners said in a news release that Khoury's addition deepens the firm's strengths investing in the food and restaurant industries. Khoury previously served as VP, Pizza Hut National Purchasing Co-op Inc. with Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions, a $5.8 Billion Yum! Brands Inc. Co-op.
With more than 20 years of experience in foodservice and restaurant supply chain operations, Khoury's duties will include sourcing investment opportunities, post-acquisition value building, business development and implementing growth strategies within CIC's food and restaurant portfolio.

As VP, Pizza Hut National Purchasing Co-op Inc., Khoury led major strategy and transformation efforts, including the redesign and implementation of the national sourcing strategy and operation. He previously held senior management and leadership positions with Unified Foodservice Purchasing Co-op LLC, Pepsico, and Cott Beverages. He holds an MBA from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada, and a BBA from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, Canada.
